Focus on Europe

SIPPE is the International Petroleum Petrochemical Natural Gas Technology Equipment Exhibition and was held in Shanghai from 21 to 23 September 2011. Mrs Janneke de Kreij, account manager at NMi, visited this fair and discussed European market access and other relevant topics with Chinese manufacturers.

Visitors and exhibitors from the oil and gas industry tried to speak to as many possible customers and demonstrate their new products at the 6th SIPPE. The focus was, amongst others, on the European market.

It appears that an increasing number of Chinese manufacturers are interested to sell their products in Europe. There are currently no clear guidelines or directives on European law or the procedures on obtaining European approval. Janneke de Kreij reported that “It is a great challenge for NMi to inform and help Chinese manufacturers with the best and easiest way to European approval”.

Seminars 2012

NMi is planning to continue organizing seminars in China in 2012. These seminars will have, as their main focus, topics on how to enter the European market in the quickest and easiest way. We will update information regarding dates and locations on our website and newsletters.
