A verification is an obligatory test of a measuring instrument which checks whether it meets the statutory requirements. The initial verification is conducted as soon as the measuring instrument is launched on the market and used. There may also be periodic re-verifications later if required by law or if the seals have been broken, for example after repairs.
NMi has many years’ experience as an independent verification institute. It is therefore exceedingly well informed about nationally and internationally accepted requirements for different measuring instruments.
Verification on site
NMi provides efficient and rapid on site verification, efficiently combining the verification or re-verification of different components of your measuring system. The verification specialist performs the verification(s) on site so that your measuring instruments are ready to be used again immediately. On request, we supply a verification certificate and a test report containing all the test results.
Vapour recovery systems
With over 20 years’ experience in testing vapour recovery systems on fuel dispensers, we can conduct the obligatory three-yearly or annual (systems with effect from 2012) re-verification of your system quickly and efficiently. We are familiar with the latest legislative status and have complete coverage in the Netherlands thanks to our regionally organised experts.
On request, NMi also conducts the acceptance testing (factory acceptance testing, site acceptance testing) for your end user. This can be done anywhere in the world, at any manufacturing site. An independent acceptance test often boosts the end user’s acceptance and confidence in the quality of the product.
