Measurement uncertainty

Measurement uncertainty is the quality indicator for measurements. Measurement without stating the measurement uncertainty is therefore pointless. Do you want to conduct analyses without difficult mathematics? This two-day course gives you more knowledge and understanding of the term measurement uncertainty, enabling you to prepare and interpret measurement and calibration certificates. You also learn how to perform simple measurement uncertainty analyses.

The training is designed for calibration, verification and measuring technicians, metrological department administrators and measuring instrument developers.

Content

The course addresses the following subjects:

 Measurements and uncertainties

 Stating the measurement uncertainty

 Measurements and uncertainties notation
